Trade Counter Sales Assistant Location: Fife Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Bonus Employment Type: Full-time We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join a well-established merchant team in Fife as a Trade Counter Sales Assistant. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection and inquiries. • Accurately process sales transactions and manage account-related queries. • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business. • Promote new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions. • Handle telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally. Candidate Requirements: • Previous experience in a merchant environment is preferred. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Basic knowledge of plumbing and heating products is advantageous. • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. • A proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
