Trade Counter Sales

We are currently recruiting for an experienced-Trade Counter Sales professional-to join a well-established business within the windows and doors industry.

This is a customer-focused role where you will be responsible for supporting trade customers, handling enquiries, processing orders and quotations, and helping to deliver an excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving customers at the trade counter and over the telephone.
• Taking and processing customer orders accurately.
• Preparing quotations and providing product information.
• Building strong relationships with existing trade customers.
• Following up enquiries and quotations to maximise sales opportunities.
• Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally.
• Liaising with internal teams, suppliers and delivery departments.
• Promoting additional products and services where appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring orders are processed correctly.
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the trade counter.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in trade counter, internal sales or a similar customer-facing sales role.
• Experience within windows, doors, glazing, building materials or construction would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A confident, friendly and professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Good IT and numeracy skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work well under pressure.
• A genuine interest in developing customer relationships and driving sales.
