Trade Counter Sales Advisor

Our client is looking to recruit a friendly, motivated and customer-focused Trade Counter Sales Advisor to join their busy branch.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with builders'' merchant or trade counter experience who enjoys working with customers in a fast-paced environment.
As the first point of contact for customers, you''ll be responsible for delivering exceptional service while supporting the day-to-day running of the trade counter.

Your duties will include:

• Serving trade and retail customers at the counter.
• Providing product advice and recommending suitable solutions.
• Processing customer orders and payments accurately.
• Building strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Maintaining stock levels and ensuring the trade counter is clean and well presented.
• Handling customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve branch objectives.

• Previous experience working within a builders'' merchant, trade counter or similar sales environment.
• Good knowledge of building materials and construction products.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience using tills or point-of-sale systems.
