Trade Counter Assistant

Logirec ltd are recruiting- for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Trade Counter Assistant to join our busy client in the Basildon area.

The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service to trade customers, assist with product enquiries, process orders and help ensure the trade counter operates efficiently. This role will also include some warehouse duties including some heavy lifting due to the nature of the products.

Key Responsibilities

- Serving trade and retail customers at the counter.
- Processing sales, orders and payments accurately.
- Providing product advice and answering customer enquiries.
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
- Checking deliveries and replenishing stock.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day warehouse and branch duties.

About You

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Previous trade counter, warehouse or sales experience is desirable but not essential.
-Previous checkable work history required.

Own transport is desirable due to location and operational hours
