Technical Network has been retained with a major manufacturing business who are seeking an International Trade Compliance Manager to lead and develop the ITC function, ensuring compliance with UK, EU, and US (EAR/ITAR) export regulations.
Trade Compliance Manager
Salary c£60-65000 + benefits
Location: Herefordshire
Key Responsibilities:
o Ensure business compliance for all oversees trade activity in line with ITAR and EAR regulations and dual use strategic export control lists.
o Maintain ITC processes, promoting accountability and ownership.
o Oversee export/import licensing and authorisations. Provide expert guidance and training on UKML, Dual-Use, ITAR, EAR, and related regulations.
o Drive continuous improvement and automation of ITC processes.
o Advise leadership on authorisation strategies and compliance risk.
o Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across departments.
Experience and Skills:
Applications are sought from experienced Trade Compliance or Customs Compliance or Export/ Import Management professionals with knowledge of UK, EU, and US export regulations (ITAR, EAR, UKML, etc.).
o Knowledge of export and import regulations, international shipping processes, export declarations, invoicing
o Maintain, develop and audit internal trade compliance processes and procedures
o Proactive, analytical, and confident in managing change and compliance.
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
