Trade AccountantLocation: LondonSalary: 60,000- 75,000Working Pattern: Hybrid, 4 days in the office and 1 day from homeAn international business is seeking a Trade Accountant to join its London finance team. The role offers hands-on exposure across accounting, reporting and control activities within a fast-paced trading environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage month-end accounting activities, including accrual calculations, intercompany reconciliations and management reporting.Assist with the preparation of monthly forward books and calculation of mark-to-market PandL for physical trading activity.Partner closely with trading, shipping and operational teams, responding to finance queries and improving business processes.Take ownership of monthly cash flow forecasting.Support FX exposure management and related financial controls.Contribute to finance projects, process improvements and the implementation of new trade accounting systems.RequirementsQualified accountant.Experience within commodities, trading or a similar fast-paced financial environment is highly desirable.Strong understanding of month-end accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting.Advanced Excel skills, with experience manipulating and analysing large volumes of financial data.Inventum Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. ..... full job details .....
