Tractor Operator

We are recruiting for a tractor operator to join our clients team based in Middlesbrough. 

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous plant experience that has been responsible for operating and maintaining machinary as full training in operating a tractor and equipment will be given.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor with a water bowser and dust suppression equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out dust suppression on site
• Refill water bowsers
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment safety checks.
• Report defects and ensure machinery is maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
• Follow site rules, health & safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Work closely with site managers and operatives to ensure effective dust control.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating tractors and agricultural or plant machinery.
• Full UK driving licence (Category B minimum; additional licence categories advantageous).
• Experience with water bowsers or dust suppression equipment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
