Role: Town RangerLocation: BidefordSalary: TBCContract: Full-time, Permanent Acorn by Synergie are recruiting for a Town Ranger for a role based in Bideford.In this role you will establish and maintain high standards of maintenance and cleanliness within Bideford. Duties will involve a wide variety of maintenance and cleaning activities and associated skills.Working hours will be 37 hours per week to be worked from Monday to Friday (Occasional weekend and evening work to suit the needs of the business). Job Duties: Execute a wide variety of general and semi-skilled maintenance and cleaning activities (e.g. carpentry, painting, grass cutting, litter picking etc). Manually cleanse areas as designated by the Maintenance Team Supervisor and along the regular cleansing routes, identify and clean areas which require additional attention. Maintenance duties as detailed in (but limited to) the maintenance schedule and updating maintenance/cleaning records as required. To be the primary responder to market call outs, clean the market toilets as necessary, and to open/close Town Hall and Pannier Market (including weekends and outside normal working hours).
