Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and ambitious planning consultancy in their search for a Town Planner to join their Stratford-upon-Avon team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic planning professional to work on a variety of high-profile projects while progressing their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role
As a Town Planner, you will:

• Manage and support the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.

• Undertake site appraisals, planning research, and policy reviews.

• Assist in drafting planning statements, development plan representations, and other key documents.

• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and external stakeholders.

• Contribute to a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and regeneration schemes.

About You
The successful candidate will have:

• A degree and/or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning (or related discipline).

• MRTPI chartered membership, or be working towards it.

• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

• A proactive, ambitious attitude and a genuine interest in shaping the built environment.
