Job Title: Senior Town Planner

With offices based in Manchester and Leeds, this dynamic consultancy delivers a wide and interesting range of projects across the UK. Their portfolio spans residential, commercial, education, retail & leisure, hospitality, and a variety of other exciting sectors, offering the successful candidate excellent exposure to diverse and high-quality work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner to take on greater responsibility and play a key role in project delivery, client management, and mentoring junior team members within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing planning applications and appeals
• Providing strategic planning advice to a diverse client base
• Managing projects across multiple sectors from inception to completion
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Mentoring and supporting junior planners
• Engaging with stakeholders, consultants, and local authorities

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• A relevant planning degree (or equivalent)
• MRTPI status (or close to achieving)
• Strong experience within a consultancy or local authority setting
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills
• A proactive, commercially aware, and client-focused approach
