Job Title: Town Planner Location: YorkPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established planning consultancy in York with the appointment of a Town Planner to join its growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planning professional to join a respected consultancy working across a varied portfolio of development projects. The successful candidate will play an active role in delivering planning advice to clients, managing applications and supporting projects from initial feasibility through to determination.The RoleAs a Town Planner, you will manage a range of planning projects, providing professional advice to clients and working closely with colleagues to deliver successful planning outcomes.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing, submitting and managing planning applications across a range of development sectors.Producing planning statements, appeal statements and supporting planning documentation.Undertaking planning policy research and assessing development proposals against local and national planning policy.Liaising with local planning authorities, clients, consultants and other key stakeholders.Managing project deadlines and ensuring planning submissions are delivered to a high standard.Advising clients on planning strategy, development potential and the wider planning process.Supporting senior colleagues on larger or more complex projects where required.About YouThe successful Town Planner will ideally have:A degree in ..... full job details .....
