Town PlannerLocation: CambridgeSalary: 35-40,000A respected, well-established planning consultancy in Cambridge is looking to add a Town Planner to its team. The role offers the chance to take on real responsibility across a varied and interesting workload, working alongside experienced colleagues who will support your progression towards chartership and beyond.The rolePrepare planning statements, appraisals and supporting documents for a range of projects, from straightforward schemes to larger, more complex developmentsDraft and submit planning applications and appeals, and monitor their progress through to decisionAdvise clients at every stage of the planning and development processAssess the planning potential of new development opportunitiesCarry out planning policy research and analysis to support project strategyContribute to community engagement and consultation activitiesAttend committee meetings, public examinations, site visits and client meetingsHelp to shape fee proposals and project scopesRequirementsA degree in Town Planning or a related subject, ideally RTPI-accreditedPrevious planning experience, whether in consultancy or the public sectorA genuine passion for planning and a proactive, ambitious approach to your careerStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organisation and attention to detailThe ability to manage your own caseload and meet deadlinesA collaborative attitude and confidence working as part of a teamA commitment to working ..... full job details .....
