Town PlannerManchesterAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Town Planner to join a growing planning consultancy based in central Manchester.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious planner to join a growing team, working on large-scale residential projects for high-profile clients, including major strategic land firms and housebuilders.The successful candidate will be an experienced Town Planner with a strong understanding of the planning system and a genuine interest in delivering successful development projects.You will ideally have:An RTPI accredited BSc/MSc, or equivalent qualification, in Planning or a related discipline such as Environmental Planning or SurveyingChartered status with the RTPI, or be close to achieving chartershipDemonstrable planning experience, ideally within consultancy or a client-facing environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Within the role you will:Prepare and submit planning applications on behalf of clientsDraft planning statements and supporting planning documentsGather evidence and assist with the submission of appealsAssist with public inquiriesUndertake research on local, regional and national planning policyLiaise with clients, local councils and stakeholdersDeliver planning advice and support throughout the development process In return, the successful Town Planner will join a friendly and supportive team within a growing consultancy, with ..... full job details .....
