Town Planner

Excellent opportunity to work in a central London authority that can offer a great place of work and excellent project opportunities for a contract DM Planner.

At Planner grade you will be assigned a caseload commensurate with your level of experience so this will typically be minor apps should as householders and small commercial premises. You will be assigned a caseload and a deadline specified and you will work under direction of more senior Planners. You will be dealing with Lawful Development Certificates for proposed development, plus minor changes of use and conversions, listed building consent accompanying planning applications, and cases within conservation areas.

We are looking for a Degree qualified Planner who has gained experience in a Local Authority. You will need to be comfortable working to deadlines and you will need a good knowledge of UK planning legislation.

This will initially be a 3 month contract, but there is potential for it to be extended beyond this.

Our client will offer hybrid working; their main office is in Brixton. We would expect the pay rate to be circa £30/hr (umbrella). The standard week is 35 ..... full job details .....
