We''re working with an ambitious and growing planning consultancy based in Canterbury, who are looking to bring an experienced Town Planner into their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take the next step in their career, work on a varied portfolio of projects and have genuine responsibility for delivering planning advice to clients. The consultancy works with a diverse range of landowners, developers, businesses and public-sector clients, providing commercially focused planning advice across residential, commercial, agricultural, education and other sectors. As a Town Planner, you''ll be involved across the full planning process, working closely with clients, colleagues, local planning authorities and other consultants. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and submitting planning applications and pre-application enquiries. Undertaking site appraisals and providing planning advice to clients. Assisting with planning appeals and representations. Advising on permitted development and lawful development matters. Supporting clients with planning enforcement issues. Assisting with the promotion of land through the planning system. Liaising with local authorities, consultants and other stakeholders.
