Town Centre Operative

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Town Centre Operatives to start immediately for our prestigious client based in Mansfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, thrive in a hands-on role, and want to contribute to upkeep and vibrancy of the town centre.

This is a varied and active role working outdoors in all weather conditions, supporting the smooth running of Mansfield Town Centre. You''ll be responsible for a wide range of duties including:

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up and dismantling market stalls
• Cash collection and counting
• Operating car parks
• Cleaning public toilets
• Collecting waste and litter picking
• Cutting back vegetation and sweeping
• Gritting and snow clearance
• Supporting town centre events

Requirements:

• Full clean driving licence is essential
• Physically fit and able to work at pace
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Flexible with duties and working hours
• Strong customer care focus and reactive approach

Working Pattern:

• Rolling 6-week rota
• 3 days per week
• Monday to Saturday
• Breaks: 2x 30 minutes or 1x 1 hour
• Pay: -12.71/hr (rising to -13.26/hr after 12 weeks)
