The main function of this role is to provide a professional delivery and collection service to and from customers around Bury St Edmunds.ResponsibilitiesDriving a Flatbed Van and Trailer to deliver and collect equipment to/from customers. Basic vehicle maintenance/ensuring road worthiness and safety of vehicle.Check equipment against paperwork received from hire desk prior to deliverySafe loading/unloading of all equipment and equipment onto/from vehicles (strapping/chaining/roping)Tag up damaged machines on return to depot and locate in correct area within depot yard/workshop.Where applicable ensure digital Tacho''s are used and downloaded in line with current legislationKeep workshop and vehicle organised, clean and tidy and assist with general workshop duties as and when required.RequirementsMust hold a valid Digi Tacho CardMust have a Driving License which covers you to drive 7.5 Tonne VansMust have previous experience within a driving roleThe hourly rate for this role is 14.75 Hours will be Monday- Friday day shifts, starting between 6am-8am, however you do need to be flexible on hours as th...
