The RoleWe are seeking a

hands-on Toolroom Manager

to lead a team of 14 highly skilled Toolmakers in a busy, well-equipped toolroom. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior Toolmaker or experienced Manager ready to take ownership of daily operations, support new projects, and maintain the company’s high standards of quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily activities of the Toolroom team

Plan workloads, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met

Oversee the manufacture, modification, and fitting of injection mould tools

Maintain high standards of quality, precision, and safety

Provide technical mentorship and hands-on support

Operate manual and CNC machines as needed

Collaborate with other departments on project timelines

Drive continuous improvement across tooling processes

Toolroom Equipment Includes

CNC machining centres

Wire and spark erosion (EDM)

Surface and cylindrical grinders

Manual mills, lathes, and precision tools

What We’re Looking For

Strong background in injection mould toolmaking

Leadership experience in a toolroom environment

Skilled in both manual and CNC machining

Confident reading technical drawings and working to tight tolerances

Experience with hot runner systems and tool modifications

A proactive, quality-focused mindset with strong communication skills
