JOB- Toolroom Manager
LOCATION- Bolton
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £55,000 - £62,000 per annum DOE

We are looking for Toolroom Manager on a permanent basis in the Bolton area with experience in Tooling & Injection Moulding, coming from a toolmaking background and managed toolrooms with preferably CNC machine shop experience.

The Toolroom Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

• Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience- Toolmaking experience
• Knowledge with EDM techniques
• CAD/CAM experience
• CNC shop management experience beneficial
• Able to verbally communicate effectively at all levels
• Injection moulded processes and tooling experience
• Excellent attention to detail

The Toolroom Manager role will involve:

• Manage manufacture of mould & press tools
• Plan & implement new mould & press tooling required times
• Assist the mould tool specialist in quotations
• Report progress effectively across the SMT
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Demonstrate effective management of staff
• Incorporate CNC component programming
• Management of tool design
