This is a hands-on position within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment, supporting production through the manufacture, repair and maintenance of tooling and components. Please note: previous hands-on experience working with pre-pierce and cut tooling is essential for this vacancy. The role Working as part of the Toolroom team, you will: Manufacture, maintain, repair and fault-find press and shear tooling Work specifically with pre-pierce and cut tooling Operate CNC and conventional/manual Toolroom machinery Undertake surface grinding, milling and turning Work with fixturing and wire EDM Read and interpret engineering drawings Work accurately to specified tolerances Support tooling breakdowns to minimise production downtime Manufacture new components and tooling to meet production requirements Contribute to continuous improvement across the Toolroom and wider manufacturing operation Wha...
