Toolmaker Required!Our client is a specialist UK-based manufacturer of bespoke plastic extrusions.On behalf of our client, we are seeking skilled Tool-Makers/Machinists. You will play a key role in the design, production, development, and repair of all tools used. This is a hands-on role that requires precision and initiative.Package:Hourly rate from 16.8523 days holiday + bank holidaysMonday - Friday 8am - 5pmOvertime: 1.3 payToolmaker - Responsibilities:Undertake tool design and manufacture, including CNC turning, spark, and wire erosion tasks.Operate conventional milling machines, lathes, and other workshop equipment.Interpret engineering drawings accurately to produce high-quality tools.Contribute to continuous improvement of tool design and manufacturing processes.Work independently and as part of the tool-room team to meet production requirements.Training will be provided for the right individual to develop skillsToolmaker - Requirements:Time served/Apprentice trained machinistProven experience in a tool-making or similar workshop environment.Strong skills in milling and turning.Experience with wire-erosion and three-axis milling machines is advantageous.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and solve problems effectively Streamline Search is acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy, and in accordance with GDPR by applying to this post you are granting us consent to process ..... full job details .....
