A respected manufacturer based in Mildenhall, Suffolk, is expanding its team to meet increasing demand and is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join their workshop. This hands-on role involves the creation, upkeep, and enhancement of production tooling within a well-equipped and supportive environment.What''s the pay and hours?This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of 40,000 to 45,000 (OTE) per annum, depending on experience. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.Toolmaker Duties:Manufacture, modify, repair, and maintain production tooling and fixturesWork with traditional toolroom and workshop machinerySupport production by troubleshooting tooling issues and implementing improvementsAssist with tooling trials, testing, and fault findingCarry out preventative maintenance to ensure tooling reliability and longevityMaintain accurate documentation relating to tooling and maintenance activitiesWork within ISO quality and regulatory standardsAttend occasional UK/international travel for project-related workParticipate in relevant training courses to support ongoing developmentIdeally, You''ll Have:Proven experience working as a Toolmaker or within a toolroom environmentExperience using toolroom/workshop-based machineryA qualification in ..... full job details .....
