This is a key toolroom role focused on the manufacture, repair and refurbishment of production tooling, supporting smooth and efficient production. Key responsibilities Manufacture, repair and refurbish tools, jigs and fixtures to drawing and specification Complete planned preventative maintenance on tooling and associated equipment Diagnose issues, fault-find and carry out corrective actions Modify and improve existing tooling to enhance performance and reliability Operate toolroom machinery including mills, lathes and grinders Inspect work using precision measurement equipment (micrometers, gauges, CMM tools) Work consistently to tight tolerances and high quality standards Skills & experience Proven experience as a Toolmaker (or similar toolroom role) within manufacturing Strong knowledge of machining principles and toolroom best practice Confident interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications Methodical approach with strong problem-solving skills and at...
