gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a Toolmaker to work at their facility based near Blackpool

Performance Objectives

• Manufacture of press tools, jigs & fixtures
• Service and Repair of associated press tools, jigs, and fixtures
• Provide engineering support to the Production and Press Shop departments.
• Assist all areas of the Works Engineering department when required.
• Liaise with supervisor on maintenance issues and with work schedules.
• Be flexible with working hours, at times additional hours may be required to complete projects.

Person Specification

• Experienced, time served Press Toolmaker
• Experienced in the operation of all toolroom machinery
• Knowledge and substantial experience of Health & Safety in the workplace
• Substantial experience in the industry
• Forklift truck and crane license desirable
• Abrasive wheels certificate desirable
• Full UK driving license.
