Toolmaker / Bench Hand

JRS Associates have partnered up with an established plastic injection moulding specialist to recruit two skilled Toolmakers / Bench Hands to join their experienced tooling team on a permanent basis.

This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent overtime, strong hourly rates, and job security within a well-equipped toolroom environment.

The Successful Toolmaker / Bench Hand – Package:

• £16.50 – £18.50 per hour (depending on experience)

• 39-hour standard working week

• Overtime available – as much as you want (enhanced overtime rates apply)

• 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays

• Permanent, full-time positions

• Stable workload within a specialist injection moulding environment

The Successful Toolmaker / Bench Hand – Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Toolmaker / Bench Hand

• Strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding tools

• Experience assembling plastic injection moulding tools

• Confident using conventional machinery, including:

  • Milling machines

  • Lathes

  • Surface grinders

  • Hand tools

• Experience with:

  • Bed-out tooling

  • Polishing and finishing

• Reliable, hands-on, and comfortable working to tight tolerances
