Suitable for: Tooling Procurement Specialist, Tooling Engineer, Tooling Purchasing Specialist, Supplier Development Engineer, Cost Engineer Tooling, Purchasing Specialist, Procurement Specialist The Role Reporting into the Procurement Manager you will have the following duties: - Procurement: Source and procure tooling, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and associated equipment while managing suppliers, costs, budgets, contracts, and compliance.- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and manage supplier relationships, monitor performance against key metrics, drive continuous improvement, and mitigate supply risks.- New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, source, and deliver tooling in line with new product launch and industrialisation timelines.- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and communicate project progress, risks, and opportunities.- Continuous Improvement: Improve procurement processes, supplier performance, tooling lifecycle management, and digitalisation while ..... full job details .....
