We are recruiting for an experienced Tooling Engineer to join an established manufacturing business. This is a hands-on role responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of tooling across the site. The Role You will be responsible for: Planned and preventative maintenance of press tools, flying shears and die-cutting equipment. Responding to tooling breakdowns and carrying out fault finding and repairs. Managing tooling spares, stock levels and tooling locations. Liaising with Production, Planning, suppliers and external contractors. Supporting the use of CMMS systems and maintaining accurate maintenance records. Identifying repeat tooling issues and implementing improvements. Improving tool reliability, MTBF and tool wear life. Supporting the ongoing development and improvement of the toolroom. About You The successful candidate will have: Previous experience working with press tooling and flying shears. Strong mechanical and hand-fitting skills.
