As the Tooling Design Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, SC clearance is required. You will be involved in:Deliver practical and innovative tool design solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goalsRe-engineer existing solutions, updating models, configuration, and associated documentationManage your own project timelines and priorities to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met Your skillset and experience:HNC/HND qualified with significant experience in Tool Design and DefinitionA significant amount of 3D modelling experience and be able to assess 3D models for their qualityExperience in 3D annotations would be a distinct advantage (CREO)Ability to translate design intent from 3D models into high quality 2D/3D definitions (CREO)Strong background in the production of engineering drawingsKnowledge of BS8888 Technical product documentation ..... full job details .....
