Working closely with the Toolroom Manager and Production teams, you will help ensure that tooling, gauges, fixtures and work holding are correctly stored, maintained and available when required. You will also prepare tooling for upcoming production jobs, manage returned tooling and support stock control, purchasing and regrind activities. This would suit someone who is highly organised, enjoys a hands-on role and is keen to develop their knowledge of tooling and precision engineering within a busy manufacturing environment. Previous Toolroom or engineering experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential. We are happy to provide training and development for the right person who has a practical approach, strong attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn.
