Tool Room Team Leader

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our client in Worksop on a permanet basis. You will be working with a team in a well-established manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and mentor the Toolroom team to deliver an efficient and responsive service. Develop the knowledge and cross-functional skills of the team across mould tools, press tools, machining, EDM and bench fitting. Collaborate with Production Supervisors to plan and prioritise daily workloads. Develop and implement a Tooling TPM programme to reduce Toolroom-related downtime within moulding and press operations. Support Engineering teams during new product development by providing tooling expertise and identifying potential manufacturing and processing risks. Lead initiatives to transition press shop operations from riveted to welded contacts, including the implementation of associated tooling and equipment. Utilise CAD and 3D modelling software to design tooling modifications and major repair solutions. Manage internal tooling replacement projects, ensuring compliance with capital expenditure processes. Promote a strong culture of continuous improvement, quality, safety and operational excellence. About You You will be a motivated and technically capable leader with a strong background in tooling and manufacturing environments.
