Tool Repair and Warehouse Technician

About the Role Target Staff is looking for a practical, hands-on individual to join our clients team as a Tool Repair and Warehouse Technician. This is a varied role combining the repair, servicing and calibration of professional crimping and cutting tools with general warehouse support duties. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in their work and is keen to learn new skills. Previous experience repairing tools would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Full training will be provided to the right candidate. What is most important is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialist technical skills and grow within the business. Key Responsibilities Tool Repair, Servicing and Calibration Inspect, diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical and battery-operated crimping and cutting tools. Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance. Identify faults and determine appropriate repair solutions. Calibrate tools and equipment in accordance with company procedures. Issue and maintain calibration certificates and records. Ensure all repaired and calibrated equipment is fully tested and fit for purpose before return to customers or the hire fleet.
