This role involves producing high-precision components predominantly using manual milling and turning machines, working from technical drawings, and maintaining quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced precision engineer / toolmaker / who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and enjoys hands-on work. Key Responsibilities Design and fabricate precision tools such as dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures and special guides used in manufacturing Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create components with extremely tight tolerances Operate machining equipment including lathes, milling machines, grinders, CNC Machines to cut and shape materials. Use CAD/CAM Software to design and programme tool paths Inspect finished parts using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometres, gauges) Maintain repair and modify tools to ensure optimal performance Work with other engineers and production teams to achieve production targets Document records for quality and traceability.
