Toolmaker / Grinder Location: Ash Vale Job Type: Permanent Salary: 33,000 - 39,000 per annum DOE About the Role We are looking for an experienced Toolmaker / Grinder to join our clients busy engineering team in Ash Vale. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled manual/CNC machinist or toolroom engineer with a strong background in precision grinding to work within a well-established manufacturing environment. Working a 39-hour week with an early finish every Friday, you''ll be responsible for producing high-quality precision components to exact customer specifications while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship. Key Responsibilities Surface grinding Cylindrical grinding Bore/Internal grinding Ring grinding Honing Working to fine tolerances Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Using precision measuring equipment to inspect finished components Working independently and as part of a team Meeting production schedules and customer deadlines while maintaining quality standards What We''re Looking For Experience as a manual/CNC machinist, toolmaker or toolroom engineer Strong grinding experience across a range of precision grinding processes The ability to work to tight tolerances Confidence reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team This position would ..... full job details .....
