Tool Design Engineer

We re hiring for a Tool Design Engineer to take ownership of tooling design, procurement and day-to-day toolroom activity within a busy manufacturing environment based in Chapel-en-le-Frith. What s on offer? Designing tooling using 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD / similar) Supporting production with tooling repairs, modifications and improvements Managing tooling procurement, consumables and critical spares Prioritising workload and allocating work across the toolroom team Liaising with internal teams, customers and subcontractors Supporting new product introduction and tooling development Producing CAD data and programs to support machining processes Maintaining tooling records, drawings and ERP systems Supporting inspections, calibration and quality standards What will you need? Strong background in tool design, toolroom, or production tooling Experience using CAD (AutoCAD / Inventor or similar) Understanding of materials, machining processes and tooling lifecycles Experience leading or supporting a small team Interested?
