Tool Change Setter / Fitter

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing business for a Tool Change Setter/Fitter to join their team in Blackburn. This company works with globally recognised brands to design and produce innovative, sustainable components for the vehicles and equipment of the future.They have a strong reputation for investing in their people, maintaining high standards, and driving continuous improvement across their operations.The RoleThis is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for carrying out efficient and safe tool changes across injection and blow moulding machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly and downtime is minimised.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out tool changes in line with setting sheets and target timesPrepare and set up all required secondary equipmentAccurately complete all tool change documentationIdentify and report any faults with tools, dyes, or machinerySupport basic maintenance activities when requiredMaintain excellent housekeeping and health and safety standardsReturn tools and dyes to the toolroom after useCandidate RequirementsFLT (Forklift Truck) licencePrevious experience within a manufacturing environmentExperience with tool and dye changes on injection and/or blow moulding machinesAbility to follow structured processes and meet deadlinesLifting and slinging experienceProactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementStrong communication skillsWillingness to learn and developWhat Success Looks LikeMeeting or ..... full job details .....
