TIG Welder/Technician

About the role We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder/Technician to join our team, welding and assembling precision components to high standards and customer specifications. Role responsibilities TIG weld stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, titanium, nickel and other exotic materials. Carry out precision welding using lathes, turntables and semi-automated equipment. Perform laser welding where required. Work from engineering drawings, weld specifications and assembly procedures. Weld material thicknesses typically ranging from 0.5mm to 10mm. Work to tight tolerances, including straightness and concentricity requirements. Support weld procedure development and third-party welding approvals. Complete manufacturing documentation and maintain high standards of traceability. Support welding and assembly activities across Production, including occasional off-site work.
