TIG Welders

We are seeking experienced TIG Welders based in Barrow-in-Furness. You will be working on high integrity pipework. The role will suit candidates from a marine, nuclear, oil & gas, offshore, or other heavy engineering background where quality and procedural compliance are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out TIG welding on pipework
• Work to tight tolerances with emphasis on penetration, cleanliness, and finish
• Produce welds suitable for NDT inspection (radiography / DPI / VT)
• Follow strict procedures around documentation, traceability, and cleanliness
• A weld test will be required prior to engagement

Job Requirements:

• Proven TIG welding experience in regulated environments (marine, nuclear, oil & gas, offshore, power generation, heavy engineering, etc.)
• Ability to work to strict procedures and quality standards
• Ideally, hold transferable SC clearance
• Alternatively, suitable candidates can be put through the clearance process
• Must be British to be eligible for SC clearance

Additional Information:

• PAYE - -35 - -40 per hour plus -4.22 - -4.83/h holiday pay (can be accrued or advanced)
• Umbrella Co - -46.87 - -53.57
• Rates are dependant on experience 39 Hours per week (OT likely to be available)
• Travel expenses paid from home to site and return, as incurred
• Transport to and from accommodation may be provided, depending on location
• 39 hours per week (overtime likely to be available)
• Rolling contract starting August 2026
