Join one of the UK''s leading sheet metal subcontract manufacturers, producing high-quality fabricated components and decorative metalwork for a diverse range of industries.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join their established fabrication team.

Working with thin to medium gauge materials, you''ll be responsible for producing high-quality welded assemblies and decorative panels where attention to detail and workmanship are paramount.

What you''ll be doing

• MIG and TIG welding thin to medium gauge sheet metal components
• Manufacturing decorative and architectural metalwork to a high cosmetic standard
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Working with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium materials
• Inspecting your own work to ensure the highest quality standards are achieved
• Supporting fabrication and assembly activities where required

What we''re looking for

• Proven MIG and TIG welding experience within a sheet metal or fabrication environment
• Ability to produce clean, high-quality cosmetic welds
• Experience welding thin gauge materials
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Aluminium TIG welding experience would be highly advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
