Job Title: 6G TIG Welder Location: Brownhills Employment Type: Temp to Perm (Dayshift, with potential for Nightshift work) Pay Rate: Up to 17.50/hr We are currently recruiting skilled 6G TIG Welders to join our team at our clients Brownhills site. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 6G TIG Welder looking to work on high-quality coded welding projects across pipe, plate, and pressure components.Key Responsibilities:Carry out coded welding on pipe and plate using TIG, MIG, and Pulse MIG processesPerform TIG welding in 2G and 6G positions on pipeWork with stainless and carbon steel tubes (butt welds and fillets), as well as plate workCarry out positional TIG welding on pressure vessels, boilers, pressure parts, and superheater pipeworkMaintain quality and safety standards across all welding activitiesWhat We''re Looking For in a 6G TIG Welder:Minimum 2 years'' experience as a 6G TIG Welder in a similar industrial or fabrication settingProven competence in high-quality 6G TIG welding techniquesPrevious or current coding/qualifications (must be able to pass a trade test)Ability to complete tube-to-tube butt welds and meet X-ray, DPI, and MPI testing requirementsWorking Hours (Dayshift):Monday to Thursday: 7:54 AM - 4:30 PMFriday: 7:54 AM - 1:30 PMOvertime Rates:Monday to Friday: Time + 1/3Saturday: Time + 1/2Sunday: Double TimeNote: Night shift positions may be available following the successful completion of initial training on days.This position is ideal for a ..... full job details .....
