TIG WELDER

Key Responsibilities:

Coded welding in 141 TIG (root) and 111 MMA (fill & cap) on carbon steel and stainless steelPipe butt welds in H-L045 / 6G positionPlate butt and fillet welds in all positions (PA - PF)Working to WPS, weld maps and isometric drawings

Stainless purging to <50ppm O2 and prepping with grindersVisual inspection of own welds prior to NDT

Maintaining weld traceability and completing weld logs / job cardsAdhering to all H&S procedures on site

:Essential: Valid in-date coding certificates in 141 TIG & 111 MMAProven experience with:TIG root on pipe (typically 6" SCH 40 / 80 carbon & stainless)MMA fill/cap - 6010 / 7018 rodsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and WPSOwn tools / PPE and ability to pass a site weld test if requiredCSCS / CCNSG card preferred for site work
