We are recruiting a TIG Welder to join a small, specialist engineering firm on the outskirts of Stowmarket, Suffolk. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start. Due to the location, own transport is required.OVERTIME REGULARLY AVAILABLE AT ENHANCED RATES OF PAY!The company produces high-quality architectural metalwork, working on both bespoke one-off pieces and larger batch orders. This is a hands-on fabrication role requiring a flexible and adaptable approach to varied work.TIG Welder Duties: TIG welding, fabricating and assembling architectural metalworkCutting, grinding, drilling, bending and fettling materialsReading engineering drawings and using workshop machineryEnsuring work meets the required quality and finish standards Skills and Requirements: TIG welding and fabrication experienceAble to read and understand engineering drawingsGood attention to detail with a flexible approach to varied workAble to work independently and as part of a small team; own transport essential Additional Information: Monday to Friday, 08 0040-hour working week£16.00 p/hour, depending on experienceOvertime available at enhanced ratesTemporary to permanent opportunityPotential pay review after 3 monthsImmediate start available If you are an experienced Welder looking for a varied and hands-on role within a specialist engineering environment, apply ..... full job details .....
