About the Role

Pertemps Redditch Industrial seeks a TIG Welder for a permanent, full-time position in Redditch, paying between £34,500 and £38,300 annually. Shifts run 07:00 to 15:45 Monday through Thursday, finishing at 12:00 on Fridays, totalling 38 hours weekly. The hourly rate ranges from £17.46 to £19.40, dependent on experience. This role involves manual and orbital welding of rigid and flexible tube assemblies, brackets, and components for the Aerospace sector. You will work with stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, and aluminium, following engineering drawings and process specifications. Duties include setting up, operating, maintaining, and programming welding equipment, plus using inspection tools to ensure quality standards.

An experienced TIG Welder required to join our team, working on high-quality components and assemblies for the Aerospace industry. The role will involve both manual and orbital TIG welding of rigid and flexible tube assemblies, brackets and other components.
You will work with a range of materials, including:

Stainless steel
Inconel
Titanium
Aluminium

TIG Welder - Key Responsibilities

Carry out manual and orbital TIG welding to a high standard.
Follow engineering drawings, data cards, process specifications and standard work instructions.
Set up, operate, maintain and programme TIG and orbital welding equipment.
Use inspection and measurement equipment, including shadowgraphs, borescopes, verniers and micrometres.

Previous TIG welding experience is essential. Experience with orbital TIG welding would be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will have the ability to read and follow engineering drawings.
