TIG Welder

Pertemps are currently seeking an adept TIG Welder for a thriving manufacturing setup in Blythe Valley! This role offers pay of £15.00 per hour, with room for growth, clean and spacious facilities, complimentary parking, and potential for permanent placement.

 

The ideal candidate should boast expertise in TIG welding for thin to medium gauge metals, emphasizing precision and top-notch quality. Proficiency in aluminium and stainless steel welding is crucial; experience limited to mild steel may not meet our requirements.

 

Operating on favourable day shifts from 7 AM to 4 PM on Monday to Thursday, with an early finish at 12 PM on Fridays, this role demands a minimum of 12 months' manual welding experience, excluding machine welders. Familiarity with various welding techniques, reading engineering drawings, fabrication, and fitting skills is essential.

 

In this role, you'll handle tasks independently, ensuring impeccable quality while meeting daily manufacturing targets. Your responsibilities will include cleaning, polishing, and refining metals post-welding using hand tools.
