Job Role: TIG WelderLocation: Leicester, LE18Type: Full-time, PermanentShift: Rotating AM/PM (37 hours per week)Pay Rate: 17- 18 per hour Optima UK have an exciting new opportunity for a TIG Welder to work in a well established manufacturing facility in the Leicestershire area.This is a permanent vacancy and the company offer some great benefits such as:-Benefits:26 days floating + 7 statutory days (this holiday entitlement increases after 10 years to 27 days)Company eventsCompany pensionCycle to work schemeEmployee discountFree parkingOn-site parkingSick payStore discountSupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeQuarterly bonusJob Role:Provide welding support on a range of Industrial components in line with customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Completion of TIG welding tasks in line with Customer specificationCompletion of critical tube welding tasks, welding of vanes to vanesInspection of work to ensure compliance with strict quality standardsUsing a range of air tools to perform work tasksCompletion of all necessary paperwork (i.e batch cards)Understanding of basic Engineering drawings and method specifications.Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including SOX, Code of Conduct and Health and Safety.The candidate:Must have proven experience of TIG weldingExperience of working in a fast-paced Manufacturing / Engineering environmentExperience of using hand / air toolsAbility to understand method specifications and basic engineering drawingsExperience of using ..... full job details .....
