TIG Welder

Our client, a leading marine services provider, is currently seeking experienced TIG/MMA Welders to join a busy fabrication shop in Renfrew. You will be working on the fabrication of large steel structures for the shipbuilding and ship repair industry.Key Responsibilities:Perform TIG and MMA welding to a high standardFabricate and repair steel structures in the marine sectorWork from detailed drawings and specificationsEnsure welds meet private LR (Lloyd''s Register) codings or pass in-house weld tests if not already codedMaintain a safe and clean work environmentCollaborate with team members to meet production goalsJob Requirements:Experience in TIG and MMA weldingAbility to interpret and work from technical drawingsIf currently coded with LR: immediate start; if not: successful completion of an in-house weld test requiredCapability to ensure high-quality welds complying with industry standardsAttention to detail and strong hand-eye coordinationUnderstanding of workplace safety regulationsJob Details:Contract position starting by 3rd November 2025Standard working week - 39 hours, with overtime available up to 50 hoursContract duration until Christmas 25h paye plus 3.02 holiday pay (can be accrued or advanced) or 33.48/h Umb coIf you are an experienced TIG/MMA Welder looking for an exciting contract opportunity in the marine industry, we would love to hear from you.
