Tig Welder

We’re looking for a TIG Welder to join a specialist manufacturing business in Chapel-en-le-Frith.

This is a 6 week temporary role suited to someone with at least 2 years of TIG welding experience, as you will be carrying out jig work and TIG welding stainless steel components for HGV truck bars.

What’s on offer?

• £16.30 - £18.00 p/h
• Mon – Fri | 7:30am – 5pm
• 6-week temporary role
• Potential for the role to continue further

What will you be doing as a TIG Welder?

• Carrying out TIG welding on stainless steel
• Working with materials between 1.6mm - 2.3mm
• Completing jig work
• Welding truck bars for HGVs
• Working on products used by manufacturers including Volvo, Scania and DAF

What will you need?

• At least 2 years of TIG welding experience
• Experience TIG welding stainless steel
• Confidence working with thinner materials
• Ability to carry out jig-based welding work
• TIG welding experience on aluminium (nice to have)
