TIG Welder Location: Montrose Hours: 4 days on 4 days off - split between day and nights, 46 hours per week Contract: Ongoing Temporary Pay: 28 per hourWe are looking for an experienced (GTAW) TIG Welder with proven capability in duplex stainless steels, Inconel clad carbon steel, and precision pipe spool fabrication. This role is ideal for a coded welder who takes pride in producing high integrity welds that consistently meet stringent NDE and QA requirements.The TIG Welder Role Performing TIG welding on duplex stainless steels and Inconel clad carbon steel in line with approved WPS. Fabricating and welding pipe spools ( "-9" OD) to tight tolerances, ensuring correct alignment, sound root fusion, and full penetration. Working in compliance with ASME Section IX, EN ISO 15614, EN ISO 9606, or equivalent company approved welding qualification standards. Reading and interpreting isometric drawings, PandIDs, fabrication drawings, weld maps, and WPS/PQR documentation. Carrying out all stages of weld preparation including joint fit up, bevel inspection, purge planning/setup, and consumable control. Producing welds that meet VT, PT, RT, and UT acceptance criteria. Following internal fabrication procedures, safety requirements, and strict material traceability processes.
