Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for:We are currently recruiting for TIG Welders for a contract position working with our client in Rotherham until ChristmasImmediate start available, subject to interview/weld testRate of 18.00 per hour for basic hoursThe RoleThe successful candidates will be working primarily with 2mm stainless steel, producing high-quality welds to engineering drawings and specifications.Duties and ResponsibilitiesTIG welding 2mm stainless steelWorking from engineering drawingsProducing neat, high-quality welds to a high standardSetting and operating TIG welding equipmentPreparing, cleaning and inspecting materials prior to weldingMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentWorking to production targets and quality standardsRequirementsPrevious experience as a TIG WelderStrong experience welding stainless steel, ideally around 2mm thicknessAbility to read and work from engineering drawingsGood attention to detailAble to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant welding qualifications/certifications would be advantageous NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Welding would be expected.
