TIG Welder

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for:

We are currently recruiting for TIG Welders for a contract position working with our client in Rotherham until Christmas

Immediate start available, subject to interview/weld test

Rate of -18.00 per hour for basic hours

The Role

The successful candidates will be working primarily with 2mm stainless steel, producing high-quality welds to engineering drawings and specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

• TIG welding 2mm stainless steel
• Working from engineering drawings
• Producing neat, high-quality welds to a high standard
• Setting and operating TIG welding equipment
• Preparing, cleaning and inspecting materials prior to welding
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working to production targets and quality standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as a TIG Welder
• Strong experience welding stainless steel, ideally around 2mm thickness
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant welding qualifications/certifications would be advantageous

NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Welding would be expected.
