Salary: -32,000 - -37,385 per annum
Shifts: Early or late shift, Monday to Friday
Hours: 37 hours per week

We''re recruiting for a skilled TIG Welder to join an established manufacturing operation in Abingdon, working on high-quality engineered metal products. • Salary of -32,000 - -37,385, depending on experience

• Early or late shift, Monday to Friday

• 37 hours per week

• 25 days'' annual leave plus bank holidays

• Overtime paid at 1.5x during the week

As a TIG Welder, you''ll be responsible for producing high-quality welds and ensuring components are manufactured to the required specifications and quality standards.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out TIG welding on metal components and fabricated assemblies.

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Preparing materials and components ready for welding.

• Maintaining high standards of weld quality, accuracy and finish.

• Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets required standards.

• Working closely with colleagues across the manufacturing and fabrication teams.

• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.

• Previous experience in TIG welding within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• An understanding of welding procedures and quality standards.

• A reliable, team-focused approach with the ability to work independently when required.

Experience working with stainless steel, precision fabrication or high-integrity welded components would be advantageous.
